SCHOOL DONATION SCHEME:

We opted into the School Donation Scheme in 2021. This means that the government will contribute $150 per child to our school operations grant, based upon the July roll return for each year..

We have opted into the government scheme, in good faith, in order to reduce the burden on families.  In years prior to 2020, we asked families for a school donation, specialist fees and fees for day trips and education outside the classroom (camps).

In 2024, we cannot ask for any fees related to curriculum, with one exception. We can ask families to make a voluntary donation towards the cost of camp. We believe that EOTC/School Camps is a very important part of the curriculum for emerging adolescents.  All children will attend school camp regardless of whether camp fee donation is paid or not, however, we are sincerely hoping that as many families will make the voluntary camp donation in 2024.

We may not be able to sustain the EOTC/School Camp programme if we do not receive your support, in order to cover costs.

Specialist Take Home Component

Parents/caregivers may choose to pay a contribution towards the take home component of our specialist programme.  This is optional and is set at $40.00 per student.

SPORTS AND EXTRA- CURRICULAR BASED FEES:

All sports, music tuition and any other non-curriculum based fees, must be paid in full at least 1 week prior to the activity commencing. Should you need an extension past the due date, please pop into the office to fill out the relevant paperwork, requesting consideration for extension. Extensions are considered on a case by case basis.

If paying by automatic payments, money will be allocated to the most urgent billable item first. You may start paying automatic payments from the time your child has enrolled at MMIS, so this is great for those people wanting to have any fees paid off prior to school commencing the following year.

If preferred, EFTPOS and credit card payments are accepted at reception of the school office.

If paying by cash, money must be placed in a sealed envelope with the student’s full name, room #, what they are paying for and amount of cash in the envelope. Payments are then placed in the red payment drop box, accessed via the student lobby.
