AIMS Fees

We understand that cost is an important consideration for families, and we strive to keep participation as affordable as possible while delivering a high-quality experience for all students. Below is a detailed breakdown of the fee structure:

Sport Code Fee: $80 (may vary slightly depending on the sport)
Opening Ceremony Fee: $25 + flicket admin fee
Uniform Fee: Covers the use of school sports uniforms
Blues Awards and Certificates Fee: Supports student recognition for participation and achievement
Manager/Coach Gift Contribution: A small amount is allocated to thank volunteer managers and/or coaches
Transport Fee: Covers the use of school vans for travel to and from the event
Equipment Fee: Helps fund additional or replacement equipment required for the sport (e.g., balls, bibs, cones, sport-specific gear)

Additional Costs Covered by the School:

To help keep the overall fee manageable for families, the school absorbs a number of significant expenses, including
Staff release costs to provide adequate cover while teachers attend AIMS
First Aid kits and supplies

Why Our Costs Are Lower Than Many Schools:

We are fortunate that the AIMS Games is a local event for Mount Maunganui Intermediate. This means we are able to avoid the considerable costs many other schools face, such as: Long-distance travel, Accommodation, Catering/meal costs
