We have a dedicated international team who support students with settling in, making friends, learning routines, and adjusting to life in New Zealand. Students can always ask for help if they are feeling unsure or homesick.

Most international students stay with a parent or caregiver. We are able to support you with finding suitable rental properties when you are here. 

Mount Maunganui is known as one of New Zealand’s safest and most family-friendly beach communities. Our school has strong pastoral care systems and staff who closely support student wellbeing.

Students do not need perfect English before arriving. We support learners at different English levels and encourage students to improve naturally through classroom learning and daily life. Depending on your child’s level of English we will support them with small group ESOL lessons. We also have after school private English lessons available for an additional fee.

Yes! International students are encouraged to join sports teams, clubs, cultural groups, music, arts, outdoor education, and school events alongside local students.

Students experience a broad New Zealand curriculum including core subjects as well as specialist classes such as Art, Science, Music, Hard Materials, Digital Technology and Foods.

Students can enrol for short-term programmes, one term, multiple terms, or a full year depending on their goals and visa arrangements.

The school day includes academic learning, specialist subjects, break times, and opportunities for outdoor activities. Students enjoy a balanced lifestyle with plenty of time for social connection and physical activity.

We regularly communicate with parents through email, reports, photos, and updates from our international team so families feel informed and connected while students are in New Zealand.

Once a student is accepted by the school, families will receive an Offer of Place and supporting documents needed for the visa application. Student visas are applied for through Immigration New Zealand. Our international team is happy to guide families through the process and answer questions about required documents, insurance, and enrolment steps.
