We have introduced a digital tool designed to keep our students safe and focused during the school day.
Following its initial introduction, we implemented Securly Classroom across the school network to manage our 1:1 Chromebook program. This system allowed staff to see what students were viewing and doing on their devices in real time, ensuring they stayed on task and used technology responsibly. This visibility included all websites accessed by students during school hours.
A central feature of the program was the ability for staff to monitor activity and manage device access instantly, which helped maintain a productive learning environment. Throughout this period, feedback from our staff remained consistently positive.
We shared the specific features of Securly with our students, explaining exactly what staff could see and do. Consequently, all students became fully aware of how the ICT Department and teaching staff supported a safe online learning experience.
